Launch of the documentary Remix ta chaise

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure.

For Québec artists Rino Côté, Josianne Cyr, Philippe White and Christiane Théberge, chairs found by the side of the road are transformed into functional works of art. Using digital tools, carpentry, painting and sculpture, they took up the challenge of giving a second life to these objects considered to be waste. The fruits of their labor were auctioned off by the colorful Mike Diiorio as part of the Fab City Montréal campus in 2021. Profits from these sales will be used to develop a bench made from recycled plastic for the Ahuntsic-Cartierville community.
